Summer Holiday Study Plan for NRI Students in the Gulf

Gulf summer holidays are long, and many families travel to Kerala during this time. A light, steady plan keeps children learning without spoiling their holiday — and makes the next school year much easier.

Keep it light and regular

Plan a short study time most days — for example in the morning before the day gets busy or hot.
Keep weekends and travel days free.

Revise weak topics from last year

Look at last year’s exam papers and find two or three weak topics in each main subject.
Work on these first — they usually matter for the next class too.

Get a head start on the next class

Read the first chapters of next year’s textbooks, especially Mathematics and Science.
This builds confidence when school reopens.

Practise Malayalam while in Kerala

Holidays in Kerala are a great time to speak Malayalam with family and read simple Malayalam books or signboards.
Children who do not travel can still practise with online Malayalam classes.

Stay connected while travelling

Online classes can continue from Kerala or anywhere with a good internet connection.
Recorded classes help when travel dates change.

Rest and play

Make time for reading for fun, games, sports and family time.
A rested child learns better when school starts.
