SSLC Christmas Exam Preparation — A Calm Plan for Class 10

For Class 10 students, the Christmas (second term) exam is the last big school exam before the model exam and the SSLC public exam. Treat it as a rehearsal: it shows you which chapters are strong and which need work.

Know your portions

Get the exact portions from your school and list every chapter for each subject.
Mark each chapter as strong, okay or weak.
Spend more time on weak chapters, but revise every chapter at least once.

Make a two-week revision plan

Split the portions across the days before the exam, leaving the last two days for full revision.
Mix one heavy subject with one lighter subject each day.
Solve at least one previous question paper per subject under timed conditions.

Subject tips

Mathematics: practise problems daily and revise formulas from your own formula sheet.
Science: learn definitions, diagrams and equations; practise numerical questions in Physics and Chemistry.
Social Science: use short notes, timelines and map practice.
Languages: practise answer writing and keep vocabulary and grammar notes.

After the exam

Look at every mistake in your answer papers and note why it happened.
Add those topics to your SSLC revision list.
Use the time before the model exam to close the gaps.
